I am migrating from an old server running Windows 2003 Small Business Server to a new server running the same. Microsoft’s only migration instructions require the new server to have a different computer name and differnt local domain. Is it possible to get around this? It will require making changes on the client side to each workstation. I especially want my internal domain to stay the same, and would like the computer name to stay the same if possible.
