2003 Server Ent. set up as workstation. Can’t see it from other PCs

by spectre55x . Updated 18 years ago

I just set up a system using Win 2003 Enterprise Server configured as a workstation. It is dual bootable with WinXP. When I boot to XP, the other workstations (XP) can see the 2k3 machine and vice versa. When I boot to 2k3, none of the machines are visible to each other in Network Places.

I can ping the 2k3 machine and the others with no problem. Why won’t aren’t the shared drives visible anymore? The router config has not changed, and since it works when booted to XP, I imagine it has to be a config issue in 2k3. I’m new to version 2k3, so I’m at a loss here. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks.
