we have 2 networks one webserver that has an external interface and internal interface…
the admin was having difficulty that everything was going out the external gateway this gateway on the external interface we listed as the defualt gateway…. but he wanted soje stuff to be routes out over the gateway that is used for the internal network so he says to me “I fixed that by changing the subnet mask from 225.225.225.0 to 225.225.0.0”
can anyone explain how this wouls have fixed his problem ?
