486 board with scsi board hard disk

I have thiscomputer that has a scsi hard disk and scsi card for connecting the cd rom and hard disk but the system has just gone dead i have tried to change the hard disk but no success at bootup the system just says that its due to low formatting or virus problem please do help to revive this system

For no points i will tell you this much, YOu need a new system. A 486 aint cuttin it. Second, You should of never low level formated the machine. Now you know not to ever do that again.

You don't provide much to work with, but try (with power off) removing the SCSI card and reinserting it a couple of times to clean possible corrosion on the contacts. If that doesn't work, do you have a system CD and can yoou boot from that? If you can boot from the CD, the problem is with the drive only. The SCSI card may have failed - do you get any messages that indicate that its BIOS is being read during bootup? Lack of messages that used to appear can indicate a card problem.

Can you access the SCSI BIOS when the system boots?. What type of SCSI card do you have?, if it's an Adaptec card you may be able to access the SCSI BIOS disk tools.
Check the screen for messages when the SCSI BIOS is loading, and the drives are being identified.
