802.1x and password change

By RGN Networking ·
Setup: Windows XP and Vista workstations.

We have a computer lab that has 20 computers. There are 4 different accounts that visitors would use to log into the lab. These computers are all running wireless with 802.1x. If a visitor logs in with one of dedicated accounts, wireless connectivity will automatically take place and the user has full internet access.

Issue 1: If we changed the users password, restart the computer or log off, the user would be unable to log back in with the new password. The old password will work, however, they will pick up a 169 address.

Issue 2: If we created a new account to give us a total of 5 for the computer lab, that 5th account will not be able to login because the new user is not cached or therea are no logon servers available to service logon requests.

Is there a workaround or solution for issue 1 and 2? If you need more information please let me know.

Thanks!
