I’m an administrator for my company’s .NET application that is XML driven using the MS XML parser but the number of transforms and the size of XML are both pegging the web servers’ CPUs. I’m looking at XML accelerators like IBM’s DataPower XML Accelerator XA35 appliance and Intel’s XML Software Suite to take the load off the web servers. The problem is that I can’t tell if any solutions out there can support XML that uses the MS XML parser. Does anyone have suggestions I should focus on? Has anyone used XML accelerators before with a MS XML application?
