I have a network at home with 7 computers, 6 of which connect wirelessly and one is hardwired.
I can access all the computers in this network with my work laptop (which is part of my company workgroup) with no problem. I simply type \\(computer name)\drive. The computers in my home network can not access my work computer. This is how I want it.
My problem is that I now have a new work laptop, and I can not remember how I set the former one up to achieve this. When I try to access, I get an error message that it cannot find the computer. I can access the internet without problem, and I can ping the other computers, just can’t access them.
Running XP on all PCs.
Can anyone help?
