Accessing Webcam through WAN

by jtpaderes . Updated 16 years, 9 months ago

I have this Sapido WE-1530 router and my purpose is to attach a web camera so that I could see and monitor my home when I’m away. When I configured this router, I used all the default settings and used the Router mode (it has 3 modes: router, access point and client) during configuration. When I tried to access the router/webcam using its wireless signal (inside the building), I have no problem but when I tried the WAN connection, I can’t access my router and it has somewhat an invalid/error domain or hostname exist. I used an internet connection that has a Dynamic IP address so I registered to www.dyndns.com to solved the changing of IP address problem but still I can’t connect to my router. Any idea guys?
Thank you in advance.
