I created a virtual instance of a 2003 server fully activated for at least 5 years now. I installed the virtual hdd instance onto virtual pc2007, during the boot process i am being prompted to activate the 2003 virtual instance, why?
And how do i get around this?
I of course contacted MS and input the activation group numbers into their system and the automated response was it’s not valid.
We have a corporate site license for all of our MS software, i just want to test the virtual instance as a preliminary to virtualizing our site servers. Any ideas??
