Active Directory - DNS

By vanrani ·
Hello,

We had created website for our domain name. The IIS server is in DMZ. I created the A record in the DNS for the website in the forward lookup Zone by left blank for the Host and deleted the two A records that pointing two domain controllers of that zone. The website is working fine when we browse abc.com

But DNS keep creating the two A records pointing to the two domain controllers, then when i browse abc.com, since it is poining to the DCs, i am getting page under construction msg.

Something i am missing, please can some body help me.

Thanks

Rani

AD is getting in the way

If you are using the same DNS server to manage your internal AD network and your outside web space, then your going to hit problems. Are you hosting your own public DNS server?
