AD Printer Sharing Script

By zack_chimento ·
We have a problem here in our school district where the main DC's at the district office have problem over the weekend. This trickles down to the server at my school. The only problem though that arises is all of our printer shared in AD from our local school server dont show up unless I manually unshare and reshare them. this is insane, as there are way too many printers. Is there a scripting solution I can use until the higher-ups fix their problems?

You can probably do what you need to with PRINTUI.DLL

Go here and download the users guide and check it out

Another Solution

Just figured out I can also sit down at the server and open up command prompt. From there I use "gpupdate /force" and it seems to refresh all my printer in the AD.
