Add/remove button missing in add/remove programs and entries are distribute

By barathivills ·
Recently i unintalled a program using the add/remove program. After restarting the computer and double click on control panel and clicked on to the Add/Remove program icons.

To my shock some programs found inisde the add/remove had no add remove buttons. And the entries are all like distributed , they programs are like all over the place. They seem to be not organised. Can anyone help me solve this problem.

This may sound simple but have you tried clicking on the "sort" button in the top right, try "sort by name".

Still problem persists

Thanks for your reply.
However the suggestion doesnt solve the issue. Does it relate to any registry problem?

I actually need to remove certain programs installed twice which causes problems. But using Add/Remove programs option I couldnt do that as Remove button doesnt appear/missing for these programs. Any suggestion?

Thanks in advance.

System restore!

by rajagopalan.durairajan In reply to Still problem persists

Did the system promoted you to delete dependent file during the uninstall process ?
if you have not selected that , that application would have not it on its own.

Do a system restore if possible , that could revert back if you are missing any system registry !
