additonal persistent route

by Steve Cody In reply to additonal persistent rout ...

The routes you specified are for different networks. The subnet mask is what defines the network address. Without going into a lot of detail about how to subnet, here is the breakdown of the networks you specified:

Network address: 155.58.189.0
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.192
Host range: 155.58.189.1-62
Broadcast address: 155.58.189.63

Network address: 155.0.0.0
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Host range: 155.0.0.1-155.0.0.254
Broadcast address: 155.0.0.255

The networks above don't have any overlapping addresses. They are completely separate. If you had specified a subnet mask for the second one as 255.0.0.0, that would create an address range that overlapped the first network.
