Need more info. Are you referring to a computer BIOS password, or an operating system password? If it is an operating system password, what are you running, Win 98, Win 2000, Win XP, etc?

I am going to take a guess and assume you are using windows xp? If so, boot into safe mode and log on as the administrator. This account is created automatically and 9 times out of 10 does not have a password set. You will only see it in safe mode if you have other accounts set up. You can make any changes to the user accounts now.

If you are talking about the bootup password (Bios / config) when you first turn on the computer or try to go into the config;
About the only way to get this password is to reset your BIOS. This usually means unplugging the power and setting a dip-switch inside on the mother board to remove the internal bios battery from use. Restart the PC. After the system re-starts repeat the process of unplugging and resetting the dipswitch back to normal position then restarting again. (Im not sure but I believe each brand of computer is a little different in this but I think Dip Switch 6 is usually the one). You will need to talk to your Manufacturer or find it in your manuals to be sure. Unless someone else has better understanding of this (I havent done this for some time now).
