okay how to word this question now…running Win2k with SP3 & directX9 with loads of HDD space & 512mb ram, have doubled the virual memory!
All my games keep crashing with a Creative labs Extigy2 Platinum sound card after say maybe 5mins play if that at all, if you try to reload the game & start playing it will crash even quicker.
I do remember seeing a support related question on the Hitman website but this wasn’t for hitman2, which is just one of my games..co-incidently all my games arepatched up to the latest patch..the answer to that question was something to do with disabling EAX..I have played some of these games on an old SBLive 5.1 soundcard & never had any problems period!
so I guess my question is does anybody have any theories/suggestions as to what might be the cause…I also have a Nvidia 128mb graphics card with the latest drivers for that as well, for Win2k..my partition is a fat32 partition!
