Alternatives to Apple TV with YouTube & streaming

Hi
I have one of the older generation Apple TV models, for which the YouTube app is no longer functional. Consequently, I am now considering switching to an alternative streaming device.
One of the most useful functions of an IPad is the ability to stream to your TV set by mirroring, i.e. using Airplay. At the moment I’m not considering in investing in a new tablet.
I have a couple of questions:
1. Are there any streaming devices other than Apple TV, which allow me to stream from my ipad to my TV set by mirroring?
2. If so, do any of them incorporate the YouTube app, so I can watch Youtube videos without having to stream from my ipad?
Any recommendations/comments would be welcome.

1. I’d get a new Apple TV.
2. I have one of the usual Amazon Fire TV and some of their other sticks and boxes. All have the YouTube app and work without me using an iPad or phone. However you might not have an Amazon account so for this you could shop for a Roku stick.
