Have a friend w/ an HP Pavilion XL848 desktop w/ Win ME installed), and wants to upgrade the AMD Athlon processor beyond the 800 Mhz. And I currently have an HP headache from just trying to find the system info alone on their “very helpful & user friendly” site. Anyone w/ any good info on the choices that are avail. and will work in the current config? I found the AMD site & Asus doesn’t even list the OEM board. (Asus A7V-VM)
