We were using jabber up until it was discovered by our security person that it stores the password in plain text.
We have a wild fire server and have a need for an IM client that can use LDAP to authenticate but either a) doesn’t store the passwords or b) encrypts the password if it stores it.
Spark seems promising but no telling when its coming out…they missed their launch date a little while ago.
Can anyone help?
