If the games you want to play run on an iMac, you happen to have the money to buy one with a screensize and processor you prefer and you like how they look and how they run on that iMac more than the way they run on your new or future Windows desktop, why not?
Keep wondering until you decide.
By the way, it’s called an iMac, not an IMAC. Just like it’s an iPhone and and iPad, not an IPHONE or an IPAD or an Iphone or an Ipad. If you ever want a job that involves writing something (be it webpages or coding or letters or whatever) it’s quite important to be able to write correctly. Take care.
That’s just a tip for when you are ever applying for such a job after high school or college. An important factor to get first job as programmer when I finished college was that I was one of few candidates that wrote FORTRAN IV (a common computer language around 1970) correctly in my letter. Had I written Fortran they would have probably chosen someone else.-

Using an **iMac** over a **Windows computer** for gaming is generally not recommended, as iMacs have limited graphics performance and fewer game options compared to Windows PCs. However, iMacs can offer better design, display quality, and integration with macOS. For serious gaming, a Windows PC is typically the better choice due to better hardware compatibility and a wider game library.

iMacs are great for creative work and productivity, but when it comes to gaming, Windows PCs are generally a better choice. Windows supports a much larger library of games, offers better hardware customization options, and has stronger compatibility with gaming peripherals. iMacs aren’t typically optimized for high-performance gaming. Unless you’re tied to the Apple ecosystem, a Windows PC would be more practical for gaming.
