intro? hmmm let's see how much I can remember

by alphatech9 In reply to Any topics related to Int ...

From what I remember topologies and Operating Systems was the main topic of my first networking class.....

A basic intro and history of Unix, Windows, Linux and other OPSYS .... Some hardware, such as how the CPU works and NOR, XOR, AND, XNOR, and the operators....and lots of binary stuff...

Read up and practice your binary conversions, you will need it several times. Especially when you start learning TCP/IP and custom subnetting. I remember a lot of students who were weak on binary really struggling with learning TCP/IP....
