Have a client with a HP E-Book computer, with the USB E-modem, on a 98 platform. When connecting with AOL (version 6.0), the computer will instantly reboot. Reloaded modem driver to no avail. Did a complete system restore to no avail…now, lost and desparate!!! Has anyone ran into any similiar situation, HP and AOL says it is not their problem, and Bill Gates will not answer my phone calls!!!
