I have asked this question before but was givern the wrong info on the problem. Sorry to anyone who answered this problem before.
The problem is that the PC was dropped and now when it boots it comes up with Sec master and sec slave – ATAPI incompatible. In ‘my computer’ and ‘device manager’ (Win XP)the cd rom’s have vanished. I unplugged the cd rom’s and it still comes up with the error message.
Please help
