Audio crashes and all programs lag?

    by diverse- ·

I have a weird problem that I cannot figure out, and it only happens when one particular application is opened, and that is Fortnite. I enjoy playing the game from time to time, but when i have the game opened, and other tabs, such as YouTube, the audio will randomly quit and everything will lag (the game, and YouTube video will buffer) until i close all applications down, and sometimes have to restart the computer to get the audio back. When i play other games I don’t notice this, only with Fortnite. All my sound drivers are up to date, Fortnite its self has been updated many times since this has been happening, and windows is up to date as well. After confirming all my divers were up to date, i would assume it would be a hardware issue? Maybe I;m wrong, i would greatly appreciate any help, here is my computer specs.
