i am planning a network of linux servers and a mix of windows and linux clients. i want to give users login and password. when they open client windows machines, the machines must prompt for login and password. this will have to be authenticated by a linux server. i know you could do that with windows server and windows client. but can you do it with windows clients and linux servers.
