Dear All,
Currently I’m managing about 11 WinXP PC for Company X (SOHO). They already have small network (no AD, DNS) only simple internet connection sharing.
Now they have 4 printers attached on 4 PC and they want to share it for 11 others PC.
The problem now is every time I setup Printer sharing, some PC automatically noticed that shared printer (Auto bla bla bla)… but some PC didn’t.
So I remove all Auto detected printers then add each shared printer manually.
One day, one of their staff done printer sharing on his printers (we know that his printers are shared printers too). So the printer lists on each PC were doubled… Auto detect shared printer sharing showed.
Anyone knows how to handle this problem? Or maybe have some suggestion to manage this printer sharing policy?
