automatic screen saver turn off

By eyera ·
Does anyone have any ideas as why my screensaver resets to none on its own?
I'm using NT workstation and my screensaver has a mind of its own. I need to have a password protected screensaver kick in for security issues.

There couuld be a 100 different reasons why. If you're on a network and policies are implemented, the admins could be turning this off via policy everytime you login or through some sort of remote admin. Without knowing more about your setup there,it's hard to say

My first guess is you need to part of a power users group or above to aloow you to make changes like that to the computer.

Are you on a network? If yes, are you the administrator? If not, the administrator may have policies in place to not allow screensavers.

Do other things change when you log off and back on. You may have a mandatory profile. Please provide more info. Thanks
