In our office we have about 60 notebooks that people take home every night after work. I’m looking for a reliable way to back up their profile data daily when they are in the office. I was thinking about creating a backup script that checked to see if the backup server was available, and if it saw the server, it would start the backup. The problem with this would be if people are connected to the office over VPN, I don’t want them transferring backups over the VPN. Anyone have a good solution that works well for them?
