Running NT 4.0 server on Dell PowerEdge 1400sc with 2 9gb hd with Raid controller. Wondering why tape device is not being detected in Windows portion of os but is during boot up. SCSI CHANNEL B ID 6, which has been the same setup all along. I’ve reinstalled drivers numerous times but cannot get it to detect the device. Is it an adapter issue or the device itself. It has sufficient power and is turned on. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
