I would like to know if anyone has ever completed a template for a disaster recovery plan.
We use symantec backup exec and backup 20 servers. All servers take between 2 and 8 hours on a daily basis to backup daily.
They take between 3 and 20 hours on a weekly backup job.
What i would like to know if anyone has ever had to restore a server from backup exec and although the backup takes say 20 hours to backup how long would this take to restore from LT02 tape inclusive of installing the Windows 2003 operating system.
