bad huffman code

By choy.waigiat ·
I'm using Arj.exe to decompress files from the floppy to hard disk. Error says "Bad Huffman Code". Is my floppy disk spoilt?

These could be two separate problems. The CRC error when testing the ARJ.EXE integrity indicates a modification of the arj.exe
file such as of a virus, executable file compressor (Pklite, LZexe etc.) or a disk error.
The second problem is with the archive itself. Either the archive is broken (possibly due tue a disk error), or you didn't enter the password correctly.

It is unlikely you will be able to recover the damaged file. If that is what you hope to achieve you are probably out of luck.
