Bad PnP Serial ID Checksum

Every time I start up my Gateway P133 I get an error stating
“Bad PnP Serial ID Checksum”
“Device ID URR Serial Number 31F531F5”
I have the options of either hitting
“F1” for Setup or “ESC” for boot.
What can I do to get rid of this?
I have checked all my System Info. and I don’t see any conflicts.
