We all know T-1 MB rates, ethernet 10 MB or fast 100 Mb, but what does this mean in terms of the user. How many double-spaced typed pages? For the administrator, how many users using an Oracle DB, or just a Server based copy of Word?
I have never found tried and true answers to these questions that actually matched real world situations, except perhaps in terms of pages per X-bytes, which anyone can calculate.
Is there a resource out there which can help?
