Hello,
Has anybody ever heard of this file: bbinsw95.exe? if so, what is it? is it a virus? how do you deal with it?

Check this web page. It appears to be a file included with the Omnibook Recovery CD. Very little other is available about this other than it being a suspecious file, which it may or may not be. I'd contact Omnibook.

Thanks. Its interesting that it could be part of an Omnibook, because I have an HP Brio, and when this thing suddenly appeared, it wrote an entry in my Win.ini file,wiped out my Novell Client, and basically cleaned out my network connections, that's why I initially thought it was a virus.

This seems like a program like Asset Insight (inventory tracking file).
