    Best Tablets for video editing?

    by peterlofin ·

Can’t we use a tablet for video editing rather than using a computer? Can anyone suggest me a proper tablet for this? Thank you!

The tablet is very easy and portable with powerful access for video editing. So we find the use of
the computer is a little bit uneasy.
Do you like a tablet with a standard laptop experience? Then you can try out the Microsoft Surface Pro 6. You will find it is portable and in a good performance.
In case you love iOS you can try the Apple iPad Pro. This is good in multitasking and belongs to quality sound management.
You may need the Andriod ecosystem to edit the videos. So you can use the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4. This is full of an impressive processor, great video, and a high-quality screen.

The things you should consider when buying a tablet are,
Storage – For the best performance a tablet should have a storage range of 65GB to 1TB.

Processor – When buying a tablet you have to check the appropriate processor capacity. The thing is editing videos is a laggy task.

Resolution/Graphics – Do you know that High-resolution graphics is the path to a quality video. So the screen of your working edge is soo important.

Battery Life – The portability is based on its battery life. So you have required a device with solid battery life.

So I think it’s very clear for you about using a tablet for video editing. So take care of the things with this field. (Link removed by moderator)

Personally, I use a Samsung Tab S7+ and it is fantastic. It has a 12 inch display, a stylus pen, high capacity battery, and lots of installed applications. I am not a video editor but I can see the potential in that device.

The OP didn’t offer what price range they were considering.

FWIW: Samsung is rolling out a newer Tab 8 and taking pre-orders currently.

I’m on a Wacom Intuos Medium (not pro) and it is by far better than a mouse. Took some getting used to but once you get used to it and in the hang of things, a mouse feels slower and clunkier by comparison. There’s no going back now.
