Bios Flashing

The process of flashing the BIOS is relatively simple. First you need to get the BIOS from the your system board manufacturer's web site. Be sure to get the correct BIOS for your system board. If you do not already know your system board's model, (Besides opening up your case and looking at the system board), there are tools that you can download that will assist you in identifying it. Go to zdnet or pc world and download the utility called Sandra from SiSoft and run it the freeware version will give you the info about the board. After you know what your system board is, then download the BIOS for your system. The file that your download is typically a self extracting file that generates a bootdisk for updating (flashing) your BIOS. Boot with this disk and flash your BIOS. Hope this helps.
