Blackberry Professional Software

By Anqara05 ·
Here is my situation.
We have an Exchange 2007 Environment.
I'm trying to test out BPS 4.1 before we can go forward with implementing the BES.
I'm trying to install the BPS software on Windows Server 2003 STD x64 with SQL 64bit installed on it. I created a SQL instance for the BPS configuration database, also created the service account for the BPS and gave it the necessary rights on the domain and the exchange box.
When i try to install it, it does the pre-install check of necessary componenets and this is where it errors out saying :
1- Unable to find Collaboration Data Objects library (CDO.dll)
2- Mismatched Microsoft Data Access COmponenet(MDAC) versions recorded in the registry
3-Exchange Server is not detected. A newer versionof mapi32.dll may need to be installed.

So since this is an exchange 2007 environment, RIM requires either Exch 2003 mgmt tools installed on where the BPS is going to be installed (this can't be done as Exch2003 Mgmt tools never came in 64bit) Or install "Microsoft Exchange Server MAPI Client and Collaboration Data Objects 1.2.1" Which i did install and still same errors.
as far as the MDAC i downloaded component checker which found a mismatch on one file, however i can't find any directions on how to rectify the mismatch, nor can i find anything on how to uninstall the MDAC to reinstall a frech copy.

any ideas will be greatly apreciated.
