I want to boot from LAN on a Laptop is it possible and if yes how?

It is possible its according to the labtop type the lan card on it ,the bios, and maybe the OS.

Yes it is possible, but you will need a boot ROM for the lan adaptor. If it is a plug-in PCMCIA card, contact the manufacturer for a boot rom upgrade. If it is on-board, then there should be a boot rom option in the BIOS settings. Contact the manufacturer for more information

Hi there!

Need more info. What kind of Lan do you want to boot up into. Novell or NT/2000? Or maybe something else.
If you don't have a bootrom on you NIC, you can always make a boot floppy that activates your NIC and logs you into your network.It can be hard to do this but might be easier than booting from your NIC. (tip: if you do this, DO NOT put a password on your boot disk).
