Boot splashscreen keeps looping

Got a TINY-branded PC that, when powered on, shows the TINY logo then loads keyboard + mouse, then displays a welcome TINY splash screen & starts to play some intro wav, but halfway through it stops and just goes back to reboot. I’ve formatted HD, but now cannot get to boot from XP CD to start installation. Cannot seem to get into the BIOS either. Anyone heard of this or can help pls!

Bad memory, perhaps? Can you replace the RAM in it with another chip and then try to boot?

Did that, same result with dbl the ram – so I ruled RAM out and replaced the original 256mb. Hey presto – no boot loop! Must have been poor seating or contact with mobo. I’ll give u the points tho cos I’m pleased to have sorted it!!

try to clear the CMOS, using jumper or remove the battery for 5 to 10 mins. hope this works
