Booting a Cisco 3845 Router Question

By dan.weaver ·
When booting a Cisco 3845 router I notice that sometimes the small light for the PVDM0 is green after bootup and sometimes it stays amber colored after bootup. What does PVDM0 signify and what is the difference in light color?

Also there is a PVDM1, PVDM2, and a PVDM3 light on the back of the router.

What is the PVDM0 LED for? And what if I get the amber light signifying some type of error at bootup?

packet voice/fax data DSP module

It is a packet voice/fax data DSP module. You might need to search on cisco.com how to trouble-shoot the error. I've never had to trouble-shoot this problem.
