I have an unusual situation. 90% of our workstations connected to the core 6509 switch fail to optain a BootP, yet any workstation connected to a edge switch, which is directly connected to the same 6509 Core switch,works fine.
I have even plugged a WS directly to the same port the other switch was on, and it does not work. Yet I can take a small dump 5-port switch, ploug it into the 6509, and then a WS to that small switch, and it receives the BootP PERFECTLY. HELP!!
