Hi,
We require 3 separate buildings to be connected to our server room. We are running Cat5e cables inside the building and fiber on the outside to connect between the buildings.
From building 1 – building 2, i lay fiber and then inside building 2, i want to lay cat5e. My question is, how do i connect the fiber to the cat5e cable, do i need a fiber switch at all fiber termination points? or is there any other option.
