Unisys is announcing its new Business Blueprinting, “a comprehensive consulting, development and delivery strategy that builds digital models that link business processes to the software and systems that support them.”
This new offering will let clients visualize how strategic changes would affect not only IT infrastructure, but also the business itself. It will help eliminate functional redundancy in multiple systems whether they are legacy, Web based, etc. IBM and Microsoft are partneringwith Unisys on this project, so it will be a major initiative that could have far-reaching effects on the way IT works. I’d love to hear this board’s thoughts on Business Blueprinting.
