Buying Cyberpower UK pre-built gaming PC – Need advise

    by girvanglen ·

    Hey everyone,

I am looking at buying a new pre-built for myself soon, I am thinking of going with cyber power UK. I know I can build it myself, however, I don’t mind paying a little extra for the peace of mind knowing the job got done right by someone who knows what there doing.

I am looking for advise on this system, value for money, performance, how future proof is it etc. I will be using the system for gaming on demanding games of the hardware.

If you could let me know what you think I would greatly appreciate it.

    Thank you and kind regards,
    Glen

I see a Core i9 but no graphics card so I could guess this is not for gaming?

First a nod to https://kddit.kalli.st/r/CYBERPOWERPC/rising as this company has both bad and good experiences but the bad ones seem to suffer from poor customer service.

      https://linustechtips.com/topic/1088126-cyberpower-pc-reviewlinus-dodged-a-bullet/ didn’t help either.

-> Bottom line, keep shopping (elsewhere.)

I have purchased a CyberPower PC (US) myself in the past and was happy.

Looks like a good configuration that you selected and you should be happy. Based on the specs you may not need to do any upgrades anytime soon. Best wishes. Let us know how it works for you.

Nice system. But as proven time and time again, nothing has been future proof. Even the RTX 3080 can strain today driving the usual UHD 4K display. Easy enough to fix by getting some 1440p display.
