I bought a Netgear RT314 router and tried to set up my cable ISP (AT&T roadrunner) for two home computers. The devise promised that the setup is easy, and it will not require a second IP address. I tried everything I can think of and still cannot get the router to work. Is it me who donot know how to make it work or is it Roadrunner who has a way to avoid and block such application? Will the router really work? My cable service provider provided no IP address, no DNS or gateway munber, and no logon requirement. System is set to obtain IP address automatically, sounds simple, no! I cannot get it to work even with one computer. Anybody outthere tried to use a cable router to shear two computers using home network? Help! Any informationwould be appriciated!!!
