My company is getting ready to move, and my company has left all power, HVAC, and cabling designs up to me. The task wouldn’t be difficult if we weren’t moving into two separate floors, the 11th and 15th. The 15th floor is where all employees and the LAN room will reside. The 11th will house a demo lab and training facility along with 2 or 3 offices.
I know there are so many things to take into consideration in a move like this. The size of the climate control system. Having dedicated power outlets in the LAN room. There will be a loss of signal in ethernet cable going up 4 flights. I have no idea where to begin. Does anybody have any suggestions?
