Call Center

Dear All,
I work in a bank and I am given a project to design and develop a Customer Care Cell in the bank.

I think in order to serve a customer all the time we need to interact with the customer all the time.

Therefore a Call Center where we receive calls (Complaints and Enquiry)and make calls (Marketing)

This is going to be basically a domestic call center.

Now if any one can suggest on the technical requirement(viz. Systems/Servers/Equipments/Database/Networking/connectivity/recording the calls and everything associated with it) I would be very grateful.

A possible solution

I work with call centers all of my time, and if you are a newbie (or a Pro too) you?ll find that Asterisk (http://www.asterisk.org) is the best solution for your case. May be you need a distribution with Linux, Asterisk, Database and a GUI like Trixbox or Elastix. Take a look at it and you?ll find what you need for sure.
