Can both ports of a 1000BaseT/SFP combo port be used at the same time?

By vikay_2000 ·
Wanted to know if both ports of a 1000BaseT/SFP combo port can be used at the same time on a WS-C3560-8PC-S switch. Use SFP with fiber as downlink and 1000BaseT as uplink.

but the point of the a combo port is that IF you are not using a fiber module you have the extra ethernet port. If you are using a fiber module, the ethernet port is disabled because they use the same bus.

for the sake or argument, you've got fibre and CAT 5 mix. you need to connect them together. Do you need seperate pieces of hardware to do that?
