I have a Gateway mx6441 laptop computer. I have always been able to get on the internet through picking up wireless connections. i recently purchased wireless for my home but do not have a router yet. using the ethernet my Mac computer can get online but my gateway cannot. I have turned of the wireless but it still does not work. I gave up on ethernet. But now with a router even though it says i have an excellent connection i still cannot connect through wireless. I have no clue what my settings should be or why it wont work anymore. Please Help!
