If you are talking about your TR account...

... use the Site Help and Feedback button located at the bottom of every page. Write to management and ask them to cancel your account. There is no button or link anywhere available for users to do it themselves.

**** Tech Republic

by ownedcasey In reply to Cancel Account

Wow, you have to e-mail someone to ask for your profile to be canceled? What a bullshit site. I signed up to get an answer to a question and have received a **** ton of junk mail and no email notifications to my questions responses. I tried unsubscribing from everything a half dozen times and they still send me ****. **** YOU TECH REPUBLIC!

There were a couple of answers for you, but you never went back to your question and provided the additional information that was requested. Also, you can click on "My Account" and unsubscribe from the Techmails. So, don't blame the site or the members, who are providing free support, I might add, when you never go back to your post or bother to pay attention when you set up the account and manage the subscriptions.

Because TR SUCKs I can't reply to the GSG's post. I can't unsubscribed from the dang emails either. I have tried several times but it doesn't work. I agree 100% with ownedcasey. I had to google how to get removed from this CRAP

@jamey: You can't reply to GSG as this is a QA forum, which means we tend to keep things more "inline" Replies are either directly to the orginial question, or a reply to an answer. All replies to an answer remain inline to keep each of them branches together.

I am not understaning the issue with your being unable to unsubscribe. Are you receiving an error?

We do ask that you email us, as it allows us to work with you one on one to discover where the issue lies.
