Hello,
I seem to be having a problem connecting to the computers running XP Pro on my network. All computers can connect to the Mainserver and browse the files and folders BUT I cannot seem to gain access between XP computers. I cannot even gain access to these computers from the Mainserver. But these computers CAN Access the Mainserver.
I keep receiving the same error:
\\computername is not accessible.
Logon Failure: the user has not been granted the requested logon type at this computer.
I have Internet Firewall turned off….I have CHOSEN NetBIOS over TCP/IP option instead of accepting the default.
All computers are part of the same domain. Hence they can access the Mainserver and browse its’ shares. Everyone is part of the same Global Group with all the same permissions and access rights.
I am at a loss….any help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks in advance
